ok i am really missing cod now i want to get back to it as fast as i can it has been close to 3,4 or 5 months since i have played and it feels like a year :'(

with "help" from paddy it turns out i can't even un install let alone play it, when i click play the little box pops up with the drum music and i click play SP.........nothing happens, i click play MP.......nothing happens, i click uninstall and nothing happens.... i try system restore but it will only take me back like 4 weeks(when i still had the problem) so paddy team viewed me and told me to delete everything that would trace back to cod1 so i did i deleted everything, mods, tools, shortcuts even the main folder taking me an hour to find and delete every little shred.

before the problem was sound drivers, and i think it still is, but now i got this error:

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Maybe this will help (i'm assuming you have the CD)
Go to start -> configuration screen -> software, find Call of duty and uninstall it via there
if it doesnt work just try to delete the whole c:/program files/call of duty folder and re-install the game from the CD
I think that wil help

regards,

Ye i talked to him about it

If not, you may have a corrupted pak0.pk3 file. Try either:

1. Copying the file across from the CD again (it should be about 163 MB if memory serves)
2. Open the pak0.pk3 file using Win-zip, take out all of the contents to a temporary folder, delete the pak0.pk3 file, make a new one, and using win-zip again put the files back in and try it that way.
